Time: 6:00-8:00 pm
Led by local chef Miriam Rangel of Jireh's Table Culinary Studio, our Chocolate Tasting & Demonstration is an intimate Mexican heritage cacao workshop!
Cacao- the traditional, minimally processed form of chocolate, will be explored as guests experience cacao beyond chocolate through guided tasting and hands-on creation. Participants will enjoy a curated tasting of traditional cacao beverages- including cacao husk infusion, atole negro, and chilate- while learning about cacao's cultural, spiritual, and artisanal origins.
Each guest will create a handcrafted cacao tablet (used to make traditional hot chocolate) and a cacao lip balm to take home, making this a slow, sensory experience rooted in tradition, craftmanship, and connection.
You will also enjoy a curated charcuterie along with your cacao tasting, and special Dandy discounts and after-hours shopping! Come with friends or solo and get ready for a beautiful evening of connection and culinary enlightenment! Spots are limited, reserve now!
All workshops, unless specifically advertised as a kids class, are for ages 12 years and up. Our workshops are non-refundable. Once you have purchased your ticket, you are all set to show up! Your confirmation email upon purchasing is your receipt. Please be advised that we serve food at our events and cannot be held responsible for allergies.
